- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 5 Tbsp. raw honey
- 1/2 Tbsp. ground black pepper

- 1/2 Tbsp. ground mustard

This recipe is an easy to make and basic sauce that has a bit of a kick to it. My family is split between those who like their BBQ meats with just a rub and no sauce, and those that like sauce. I can eat it either way and be happy. I wind up making the meats with the rub on them and then making a side of sauce for those of us that want to use it. Best of both worlds if you ask me!

Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium high heat and stir to combine. Taste and adjust any seasonings to your liking. Bring to a boil.
2. Reduce heat to low and allow to simmer for 1 hour.
3. Pour that stuff on some meat and get elbows deep in some BBQ!
