  • 1 ) 4 cups apples (peeled and sliced)
  • 2 ) 1/4 cup hot water
  • 3 ) 1 stick butter
  • 4 ) 1/2 cup sugar
  • 5 ) 1/2 cup flour

Step 1

Arrange apples in buttered baking dish. Pour water over apples. Cream butter, add flour and sugar and blend to form crumbs. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 400 for 40-45 minutes or until apples are tender and top is brown. Serves 4.
