) 4 cups apples (peeled and sliced)
) ¼ cup hot water
) 1 stick butter
) ½ cup sugar
) ½ cup flour
Arrange apples in buttered baking dish. Pour water over apples. Cream butter, add flour and sugar and blend to form crumbs. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 400 for 40-45 minutes or until apples are tender and top is brown. Serves 4.
