Ingredients
- 1 cup white corn meal
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 Tablespoon flour
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon bacon grease melted
Preparation
Step 1
Combine dry ingredients and then add egg bacon grease and milk. If you prefer corn bread, not too thick, add a little more milk or water to make a thinner mixture.
Grease pan with bacon grease and pour in batter.
Bake in a moderate oven 375.
Bake until a golden brown.
