Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • Bars:
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups karo syrup
  • 2 1/2 cups pecan halves

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Spray 10x15 inch pan with pam.
3. Beat sugar, flour, salt, and butter at medium speed.
4. Beat until mix is fine crumbs.
5. Press into pan.
6. Bake 20-30 minutes until light brown.
7. Beat eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter, and vanilla.
8. Stir in pecans.
9. Pour over crust.
10. Bake 30 minutes, cool, cut into squares.
