- 1 Spaghetti Squash
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
1- Spaghetti Squash 2 1/2 lbs. Do not peel. Leave squash whole.
Place in shallow baking pan. Add 1/4 cup water. Cover and bake at 400 degree for 1 hour until tender when pierced. When cool enough to handle, cut in half, lengthwise and discard seeds and strings. With a fork, scrape out spaghetti like strands.
Serve strands with marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese.
OR
Saute strands in butter and brown sugar.
OR
Serve strands as main dish with meatballs and spaghetti sauce.
OR
Layer strands in baking dish with ricotta cheese, tomato sauce and fresh basil leaves. Spring with Parmesan cheese and bake until hot.
OR
Toss strands with basil pesto. Sprinkle with pine nuts and Parmesan cheese.
