Ingredients
- The Basics:
- 1-2 broccoli stems
- 2 celery stalks
- 2-3 Kale leaves
- 1/2 cucumber
- 2 small green apples
- Alternate Add Ins:
- Green Pepper
- Cauliflower wedge
- 2 Radishes
- Okay maybe not all 'green' but the cauliflower and radishes are nice add-ins in addition to or replace of other ingredients. Mix it up and find your favorites!
Preparation
Step 1
Always wash foods thoroughly prior to juicing. Cut off brown edges, etc. Kale leaves juice best when in combination with another food.
Broccoli stimulates enzymes in the body that detoxify carcinogens before they damage cells.
Celery's natural sodium balances the PH of the blood and helps the body use calcium better.
Kale is a powerhouse of iron, phosphorous, fiber and vitamins.
Cucumbers are high in vitamin A and silica which help repair connective tissue and skin.
Apples promote healthy skin, hair and nails plus they contain, a fiber that absorbs toxins, stimulates digestion and helps reduce cholesterol. Add an apple to all your juices!
