Bacon & Chili Cheese Dip Mix

Ingredients

  • 1 T plus 3/4 tsp minced onion
  • 2-1/2 tsp bacon bits (You can use real or imitation. I usually use the imitation because I often make these weeks before I use them and I am fearful that the real bacon won’t stay fresh)
  • 1-1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 2-1/2 tsp Cheddar cheese powder (Again, I can get this at my larger local grocery store but if yours does not carry it, you can get it from Amazon here.)
  • 1-1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients and stir well. Place in zip lock baggie and seal.

To serve:
Mix dip mix with 2 cups sour cream. Stir till well blended. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Serve with chips, crackers or veggies.
