Ingredients
- 8 TBSP. (1 stick) butter
- 2 lg. shallots, finely chopped (about 2/3 cup)
- 2 lg. garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp. chopped fresh sage
- 1/4 tsp. dried crushed red pepper
- 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
- 4 10-12 oz. T-Bone steaks (each about 1/2-3/4" thick)
- Parmesan cheese shavings
Preparation
Step 1
Melt 6 TBSP. butter in large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add shallots, garlic, sage, and crushed red pepper. Saute' until shallots are golden brown, about 3 minutes. Reduce heat to low. Sir in remaining 2 TBSP. butter and lemon juice. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Meanwhile, prepare grill (medium-high heat). Sprinkle steaks with salt and pepper. Grilled to desired doneness, about 5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Transfer steaks to plates. Drizzle sauce over steaks. Top steaks with Parmesan cheese shavings and serve.
