Sizzling Steak Fajitas

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb. lean flank steak
  • 2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 c. sliced onion
  • 1 tbsp. lime juice
  • 1/4 c. nonfat sour cream
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
  • 4- 8 inch flour tortillas
  • 1/3 c. green bell pepper strips
  • 1/3 c. red bell pepper strips
  • 1/3 c. yellow bell pepper strips
  • salsa and cilantro; optional

Preparation

Step 1

Trim fat from Steak. Slice steak diagonally across the grain into thin strips. Combine steak and next 6 ingredients in a zip top heavy duty plastic baggie; seal bag and shake well to coat. Heat tortillas according to package directions. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a large nonstick skillet or work over medium high heat. Add steak, onion and bell peppers; sauté 6 minutes or until steak is done. Remove from heat. Stir in lime juice. Divide evenly among warm tortillas and roll up. Serve with sour cream, salsa and guacamole.
