Fudge Candy

Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine
  • 2 (8 oz.) jars marshmallow crème
  • 2 c. chopped walnuts-opt.
  • 1 2/3 c. (12 oz.) evaporated milk
  • 18 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar, milk, and margarine in deep saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil. Cook at rolling boil 12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, add choc. Chips, marshmallow crème, vanilla & nuts. Stir until chocolate is melted. Turn into buttered 9 x 13 pan. Refrigerate several hours or overnight. Cut into squares.
