Coleslaw - with Creamy French Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz) pkg. angel hair coleslaw
  • 1 cup matchstick carrots
  • 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 tea. worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tea. salt
  • 1/8 tea. black pepper
  • 1/4 cup canola oil

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine coleslaw and next 3 ingredients.

In the container of a blender, combine onion and next 8 ingredients. Process until combined. With blender running, add oil in a slow steady stream until combined.

Pour desired amount of dressing over slaw mix, tossing to coat.

Store remaining dressing in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
