Rice Seasoning Mix

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sliced almonds, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup chicken bouillon granules
  • 1/2 cup dried parsley flakes
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon dill weed
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients and store in an airtight container. Yield: 2 cups mix.

To use: Place 1 cup uncooked long grain rice, 2 cups water and 3 tablespoons mix in a small sauce pan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until the water is absorbed. Fabulous! Yield: 4-6 servings per batch.
