Ingredients
- Beef (steak or roast)
- 1 Tbsp Oil
- 3 Cups Hot Water
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1/8 Tsp Pepper
- Potatoes
- Carrots
- Onion
- Peas
- Corn
- 1/2 Tsp Bouquet Sauce
- 1 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1 Beef Bouillon Cube
- 1 Bay Leaf
Preparation
Step 1
Brown beef in oil. Add water, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling, reduce heat, simmer for 2 to 2-1/2 hours. Add potato, carrots, onion, bouquet sauce, salt, bouillon cube and bay leaf. Cover and simmer until vegetables are tender, about 30 minutes. Add peas and corn. Make gravy.
