Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 large Granny Smith apples (about 2 1/4 pounds,) peeled, cored, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons golden brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated orange peel

Step 1

Cook butter in large nonstick skillet oven medium-high heat until beginning to brown. Add apples and saute until tender, about 9 minutes. Add all remaining ingredients; stir to blend. Cool

Can be made 2 days ahead. Cover and chill.
