Pineapple Frosting for Angel Food Cake

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp orange juice
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, plus juice
  • 1 Tbsp Knox gelatine
  • 1 cup Cool Whip

Preparation

Step 1

Boil sugar, crushed pineapple plus juice, and lemon juice together for 10 minutes. Soak Knox gelatine in orange juice. Dissolve it well; add to hot mixture. Cool. When it thickens, fold in whipped cream.
