- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chicken fat- sold fresh or frozen in tubs as gormet stores
- 2 tbsp fresh taragon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- fresly ground pepper
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Step 1
combine milk,chicken fat, 1 tbsp taragon, nutmeg, and 1/2 tsp each sat and pepper in a medium saucepan; bring to a simmer over medium heat. remove from heat; add the flour and stir vigorously with a wooden spoon until liquid is absorbed. whisk in the eggs, one at a time to make a thick dough form the dough in dumpliingsd with an ice cream scoop, dropinto soup. cover and cook untl the dump[lings float to the top about 10 minutes.
