Hearts of Palm Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 14 oz. jar hearts of palm
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 Tblsp. green onion finely chopped(about 3 stalks)
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 sour cream
  • 2 Tblsp. sour cream
  • 2 Tblsp. pimiento, minced (optional)
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • Preheat oven to 350.

Preparation

Step 1

Drain hearts of palm and chop finely. Reserve 1 tablespoon each parmesan and green onion. Mix hearts of palm with remaining ingredients. Spread mixture into a shallow baking dish and sprinkle reserved parm and green onion on top. Bake 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Run quickly under broiler to brown top. Serve with toasted French bread slices or crackers. ENJOY! =)
