Strawberry Spinach Salad (Brock & Brent Tite)w

Ingredients

• Almonds:
• Dressing
• 1 cup vegetable oil
• 3/4 cups sugar
• 1/3 cup white vinegar
• 2 T minced red onion
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
• 1 / 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds
• 1 stick of butter
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 cup sliced almonds
• Spinach Salad:
• 2 bags of spinach
• 1 med red onion, sliced thin
• 1 container strawberries, sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Dressing:

Combine first 6 ingredients in blender, low speed for 30 seconds - stir in poppy seeds. Chill dressing - shake well before using

Almonds:

Cook until lightly browned, spoon on waxed paper that is sprayed with pam, cool & breakup.

Spinach Salad:

Mix Spinach, strawberries, onions; Add almonds and dressing; stir well
