Ingredients
- 4 - 6 onions, diced (saute in oil)
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- 1 regular can tomato sauce
- 3 cups brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 4 - 6 tbsp. worcestershire (to taste)
- 5 - 7 tbsp. chili powder (to taste)
- 1 - 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard (to taste)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
Step 1
Cook onions in salad oil just until tender. Mix all other ingredients in large pan. Add onions. Bring to a boil (stir constantly). Turn down to simmer and continue cooking for about 1/2 hour. Pour over chicken, ribs, etc. Cook 1 hour longer or use in slow cooker on low heat.
