Ingredients
- 1 pkg (16.5oz) Nestle Toll House Refrigerator Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
- 1 pkg (3oz) cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 cup Nestle Toll House Semi Sweet Chocolate Morsels
- 1 tablespoon Vegetable shortening
- 1 tablespoon nestle Toll House Baking Cocoa for dusting
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350
Prepare cookies following package directions: however bake 14 to 18 minutes until crisp and golden brown but not burnt. Cool completely.
Line baking sheet with wax paper.
Crumble cookies in a processor until crumbly, add cream cheese and process until mixture holds together. Mixture will be dark in color.
Roll or scoop mixture into 1- inch balls and place on prepared cookie sheet. Refrigerate 1 hour.
Microwave morsels and vegetable shortening for 1 minute, stir until melted. Dip balls completely into melted chocolate with a fork. Use side of bowl to shake off excess chocolate. Return to baking sheet and dust with cocoa. refrigerate until set. Store in a tightly covered container in fridge.
