  • 1 pint Clams
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup water

Step 1

Cut clams and onion up fine. In a large bowl, combine
ingredients with enough water to stick together--more flour and water may be added, if needed. Stir; fry in deep fat, a tablespoon at a time, until golden brown.
Turn once.
