Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Post cinna-cluster raising bran cereal
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided
- 3 tablespoon margarine, softened
- 1 loaf (1 pound) frozen white bread dough, thawed
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Mix cereal, brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon in medium bowl. Cut in margarine, using pastry blender until well combined.
Roll thawed dough on lightly floured surface to14x7-inch rectangel. Sprinkle cereal mixture into dugh. Firmly press cereal mixture into dough.
Roll dough tightly in jelly-roll fashion, starting with 7-inch side. Place dough in greased 9x5-inch loaf pan, seam side down. Spray top with non-stick cooking spray. Cover and let rise in warm place until double in size (about 2 hours).
Mix granulated sugar and remaining 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.
Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until deep golden brown. Remove from pan; cool on wire rack.
