Ron's Vanilla Cake

Ingredients

• 3 1/2 cup sifted cake flour
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 tbs. and 2 tsp. baking powder
• 8 oz butter, softened
• 3/4 cup milk
• 6 egg whites
• 1/4 cup milk
• 2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.

Add to the flour the butter and milk.

Whisk the egg whites, milk and extract. Add the whites mixture to the 3 additions, beating for 20 seconds and scraping the bowl after each addition.
