Ingredients
- 1/2 cup each, butter, softened and vegetable shortening
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar packed
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. each baking soda and cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1 cup raisins

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In bowl beat butter, shortening,brown sugar and eggs until fluffy.
Blend in flour, baking soda, cinnamon,and salt. Stir in oats and raisins.
Using small scoop drop dough onto baking stone.Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly brown.Cool 2-3 minutes on stone before removing.Cool completely.
YEILD 5 dozen
TIP: Semisweet chocolate chips can be substituted for raisins, if desired.
