Creamy Ranch Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (500 mL) milk
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) water
  • 2 tbsp (25 mL) butter or margarine
  • 1 pkg (1 oz/28 g) ranch salad dressing mix
  • 1 cup (250 mL) sour cream
  • 1 pkg (180 g) Betty Crocker* Homestyle Mashed Potatoes
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 tbsp (25 mL) thinly sliced green onions

Preparation

Step 1



In 3-quart (3 L) saucepan, heat milk, water and butter to boiling. Stir in ranch dressing mix and sour cream; beat until smooth. Stir in 3 slices of the bacon and both pouches of potatoes just until moistened; let stand 1 minute. Stir with fork until smooth.

Spoon potatoes into serving dish. Top with remaining crumbled bacon and the green onions.
