Cinnamon Sugar cookies

Ingredients

• 1 c butter (no marg), softened
• 1 c sugar
• 1 c powdered sugar
• 1 c veg oil
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 4 1/3 c flour
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp soda
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp cream of tartar
• 1 c finely chopped pecans, optional

Preparation

Step 1

In large mixing bowl cream butter, sugars and oil. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Combine the flour, salt, soda, cinnamon and cream of tartar; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in pecans if desired. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place on greased baking sheets; flatten with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. Sprinkle with colored sugar if desired
Bake at 375* for 10-12 min. Remove to wire racks to cool
