Ingredients

  • 1 ) 1 stick butter, melted
  • 2 ) 4 apples
  • 3 ) 2 tablespoons flour
  • 4 ) 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 5 ) 3/4 cup sugar
  • 6 ) 1 pet ritz frozen pie crust
  • 7 ) 1 brown paper bag
  • 8 ) cinnamon (optional)

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425. Put 1 tablespoon of flour in bottom of crust. Slice apples into shell. Pour 2 tablespoons of lemon juice over apples. Sprinkle cinnamon, if desired. Pour all but 1/2 cup sugar over apples. In small bowl, mix 1 stick of butter, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1/2 cup flour until mixture sticks together. Pour this over apples. Place in large brown bag and fold twice and seal with paper clips. Place on cookie sheet and bake 1 hour.
