- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup butter, chilled and cut into chunks
- 6 cups apples, peeled and chopped (about 4 large)
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons milk
Preparation
Step 1
1 Heat oven to 350 degrees. 2 In a large bowl combine the dry topping ingredients. Cut in butter until crumbly. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a 13x9 dish; reserve the rest of the crumb mixture for the top. 3 In large bowl toss together the apples and other ingredients for the apples until the apples are coated evenly. Spread over the crust. 4 In another bowl cream together the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, flour and milk. Beat until combined and then spread over the apple layer; then sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. 5 Bake 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the apples are tender. Cool completely on wire rack.
