Crockpot Swiss Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 round steak, cut up in serving size pieces
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 cans Campbell's cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 onion, sliced to taste (or Lipton's onion soup mix can be used)
  • 1/4 C. milk
  • 1 Tbs. Kitchen Bouquet or Gravy Master for coloring, or to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Add half a can of Campbell's soup to bottom of crockpot. Add round steak pieces. Cover the meat with onions or onion soup mix. Top with remaining soup and 1 Tbs. Kitchen Bouquet or Gravy Master.

Put lid on crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours (depending on the thickness of the meat.) Serve with mashed potatoes or noodles.
