No Bake Cocoa Oatmeal cookies
Servings: about 4 dozen
- 2 Cup(s) Sugar
- 1/2 Cup(s) (1stick) butter or margarine
- 1/2 Cup(s) milk
- 1/3 Cup(s) cocoa
- 2 1/2 Cup(s) Quaker oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
- 1/3 Cup(s) Peanut Butter
- 1/2 Cup(s) chopped unsalted peanuts (optional)
- 2 Teaspoon(s) vanilla
In medium saucepan, combine sugar, margarine, milk and cocoa.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a rolling boil.
Continue to boil one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Add oats, peanut butter, peanuts and vanilla; mix well.
Drop by heaping teaspoons onto wax paper or foil; cool completely.Store on a plate covered with foil or plastic wrap, in a cool dry place.
