Candied Lemon Peel

  • Lemons
  • Sugar
  • Water

Preparation

Step 1

Peel the yellow part of the lemon peels off with a potato peeler (in strips). Combine water and sugar in a 50/50 ratio and boil lemon peel strips in the sugar water mixture for 20-30 minutes. Cool strips on parchment paper. Roll in sugar and store in refrigerator. Use the lemon simple syrup left for sweetening tea.
