Ingredients
- TOPPING:
- 2 cups purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup cold butter
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup English toffee bits
- 1 tsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp sugar
Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and baking sod. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk just until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips and toffee bits.
Drop by 2 tablespoonfuls 2 inch apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Brush with melted butter;sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 425° for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown.
