Bread and Celery Stuffing

Ingredients
- 1 loaf white bread
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 stalks celery
- 1 T. poultry seasoning
- 1 T. sage
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 c. chicken broth

Step 1
1. Let bread slices air dry 4-5 hours, then cut into cubes and place in large bowl. Toss with some extra poultry seasoning and sage, if desired.
2. In a frypan, melt margarine over medium heat. Cook onion and celery until soft. Season with poultry seasoning, sage, salt and pepper. Pour over bread cubes and stir until evenly coated. Moisten with chicken broth; mix well.
3. Chill, and use as a stuffing for turkey, or bake in a buttered casserole dish at 350 degrees F for 30-40 minutes.
