Ingredients
- 1cup1 cup sliced onion
- 1/4cup1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1package1 package (8-1/2 ounces) corn bread/muffin mix
- 11 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/3cup1/3 cup milk
- 1can1 can (8-1/2 ounces) cream-style corn
- 2drops2 drops hot pepper sauce
- 1cup1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
- 1cup1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/4teaspoon1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4teaspoon1/4 teaspoon dill weed

Step 1
In a large skillet over low heat, cook onion in butter until tender. Meanwhile, combine corn bread mix, egg, milk, corn and hot pepper sauce: stir until smooth, Spoon batter into a greased 9 in. square baking pan. Add sour cream, 1/2 cup cheese, salt and dill weed to onions in skillet. Spoon batter in baking pan. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 425 fir 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm. Yields: 9 servings
