Quick and Easy Hamburger Curry

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/2-1 lb extra lean ground beef
  • 3 teaspoons curry powder (or more, to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 dashes pepper
  • 2 dashes cinnamon
  • 2 dashes ginger
  • 2 dashes turmeric
  • 2 cups tomato juice (or 1 cup canned tomatoes)
  • 1 cup potato, peeled and diced
  • 2 cups green beans (fresh, frozen or canned)

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oil in skillet.

Saute onion and garlic. Add ground beef. Brown. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Cover and simmer 25 minutes. Serve with rice.
