Cheeseburger Pizza Rounds

Ingredients

• 1 package English muffins (six muffins)
• 1/2 pound ground beef
• 1/4 cup finely diced onion
• 1 teaspoon garlic salt
• 1/2 teaspoon pepper
• 8 ounces shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
• 1 15-ounce can tomato sauce
• 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Step 1

Brown beef and onion in skillet. Drain. Season with garlic salt and pepper.

Open muffins, place on baking sheet and broil until toasted. Combine tomato sauce, seasonings and salt. Spread 2 tablespoons sauce on each muffin. Divide meat among each muffin; top with cheese. Return to broiler to melt.

NOTE: If using frozen cooked beef, thaw and warm. Season with garlic salt and pepper. Open muffins, place on baking sheet and broil until toasted.

Combine tomato sauce, seasonings and salt. Spread 2 tablespoons sauce on each muffin. Divide meat among each muffin; top with cheese. Return to broiler to melt.
