THE BEST CROCKPOT CHICKEN

Ingredients

  • Ingredients 1 - Spicy
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (feel free to substitute fresh)
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder (again, you can use fresh)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 2 tsp chipotle chili pepper (you can substitute another spice, or whatever else you have on hand)
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1.5 tbsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Ingredients 2 - Regular
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (sub regular if you wish!)
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder (again, non-powdered onions are cool here, too)
  • 1.5 tsp rosemary
  • 1.5 tsp thyme
  • (you can also use 2 tsp of Italian seasoning)
  • optional: 1/2 cup white wine.

Preparation

Step 1

Mix spices and rub on both sides of the chicken. Or, if you're me and hate touching chicken, sprinkle it over the chicken and rub it in with some spoons.

Place the chicken breast side down in the crock pot, (if using wine, add now) and cook on high for 4-4.5 hours, or on low for 6-7 hours.
