EARTHQUAKE CAKE (Keith & Norma Tite)

Ingredients

  • 1 ) 1 small package coconut
  • 2 ) 1 German chocolate cake mix
  • 3 ) 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 4 ) 1 pound powdered sugar
  • 5 ) 1 stick butter
  • 6 ) 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Use a deep 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle coconut to cover bottom of pan. Sprinkle pecans over coconut. Mix cake mix according to box directions and pour over coconut and nuts. Mix butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar. Drop by spoonful on top of cake batter. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour or until done. DO NOT FROST CAKE.
