Meat Ball Sandwich


This is a fast meal to make with a lot of flavor.

Meat Ball Sandwich 1 Picture


  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/2 lb Sausage
  • 1/2 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 chopped Yellow Onion
  • 2 Tblsp Italian Seasoning
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 Lg jar Marinara Sauce (I like Ragu)
  • 1 pkg (2 cups) shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 pkg of 12 Dinner Rolls



Step 1

In a large skillet put small amount of oil for frying meatballs.
Combine first 7 ingredients with hands.
Form into 12-14 large meatballs.
Place in skillet & brown on both sides.
Pour marinara sauce over meatballs, turn heat down to simmer & put lid on. Cook approximately 30 minutes to finish cooking meatball thru.
Remove lid & top each meatball with large helping of cheese, turn off heat & replace lid until cheese is melted.
Cut rolls in half & toast.
Place 1 meatball with a little extra sauce on each bottom of roll & put the tops on.
