Chocolate Chip Toffee Bars

Ingredients
- 2 1/3 c. Flour
- 2/3 c. Light Brown Sugar (packed)
- 3/4 c. Butter or Margarine (1 1/2 Stick)
- 1 Egg slightly beaten
- 2 c. (12oz.) Semi-Sweet Choclate Chips
- 1 c. Coarsley Chopped Nuts (divided)
- 1 can (14 oz.) Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 3/4 c. (10oz.) English Toffee Bites (divided)

Preparation
Step 1
Combine flour and brown sugar in large bowl. Cut in butter until coarse crumbs. Add egg and mix well. Stir in 1 1/2 C. chocolate chips and nuts. Set aside
1 1/2 C. of the mixture
Press remaining crumb mixture onto bottom of 13X9 inch greased baking pan. Bake 10 minues
Pour sweetened milk evenly over hot crust. Top with 1 1/2 C. toffee bits. Sprinkle reserve crumb mixture and remaing 1/2 C chips over top. Bake 25-30 minutes or golden brown.
Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 C. toffee bits. Cool completely
Cut into bars
