Mocha Coffee Creamer

By

Dear Heloise: Do you have a recipe to share for flavored coffee creamers? I prefer French vanilla and chocoalte. - Carol Parker, via email.

Yes, and it's an inexpensive, delicious alternative to those pricey, store-bought brands. To make a low-fat coffee creamer, combine a little nonfat dry milk, low-fat liquid milk and a few drops of either vanilla or chocolate extract. Store in the refrigerator and shake before using. Here is one of my favorites. - Heloise

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup instant coffee granules
  • 1/2 cup sugar or equivalent measure of sugar substitute
  • 1 cup powdered milk or powdered creamer
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
