Ingredients
- 1/4 c. chicken broth
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 3 tbl. soy sauce
- 1 tbl. hoisin sauce
- 2 tsp. light brown sugar
- 1 tsp. sherry
- assortment of meats and/or vegetables, thinly sliced
- olive oil
Preparation
Step 1
Prepare the sauce by whisking together the first 6 ingredients. Set aside.
Heat the olive oil in a stir fry pan or non-stick skillet. When the oil is very hot, add the meat (if using) and brown on all sides.
Add the vegetables and cook until crisp tender, stirring frequently.
Add the sauce and simmer until thickened (about 1 minute).
Serve with hot rice.
