Sugar and Spice Nuts

Ingredients

  • 3 cups mixed nuts
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 Tablespoon orange juice
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon grated orange peel
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspce

Preparation

Step 1

Beat the egg white and orange juice until foamy. Add sugar, orange peel and spices and pour over the nuts Place on a cookie sheet an bake at 275 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes.
They are done when the liquid is dried onto the nuts. Cool and enjoy.
