Ingredients
- Grease bottom and sides of 9" square pan
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup quick cooking rolled oats
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine melted
Preparation
Step 1
Combine in large bowl to form crumbs, press half of crumbs into bottom of 9" square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Combine 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces and 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Sprinkle over baked crust. Combine 3/4 cup caramel ice cream topping and 3 tablespoons flour, mix well drizzle over chocolate and nuts. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over caramel topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Chill bars for easy cutting.
