Ingredients
- 2 tbsp dry white wine
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 12 oz uncooked ground chicken
- 12 oz ground pork
- 2 tbsp creamy dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp snipped fresh chives
- 1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 4/12 oz round brie cheese, rind removed and cut into 12 slices
- 6 slices french bread, toasted or grilled
- 6 red tomato slices
- Radicchio or leaf lettuce
Preparation
Step 1
combine the wine, salt and pepper in a medium bowl. Add the ground chicken and pork, mix well. Shape meat mixture into six 3/4 inch thick patties. Cover and chill at least 30 mins.
meanwhile for the sauce, stir together the mustard blend, chives and garlic in a small bowl. Set aside. This can be doubled.
Place the patties on grill until temperature registers 165 degrees. Top each burger with 2 slices of brie cheese. Grill 3 more mins until cheese begins to melt.
To serve, spread sauce on 1 side of toasted bread slice. Add tomato slices and radiccio or leaf lettuce. Place meat patties on top.
