Ingredients
- 1/2 cup room temperature butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vnilla
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tsp instant coffee granules
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
1.In a mixing bowl, with the paddle attachment on cream butter, sugars, and vanilla until light and fluffy, for about 2 minutes.
2.Add the heavy cream and egg yolk and beat well, scraping the sides of the bowl with a spatula.
3.Add the baking powder, flour and coffee granules and stir to combine.
4.With a spatula, fold in the chocolate chips.
5.Gather the dough in one ball, wrap in plastic and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
6.Meanwhile heat the oven to 350F.
7.When the dough is chilled drop by rounded teaspoon or use a cookie scoop on baking sheets and bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges just begin to brown.
8.Remove from the oven, leave few more minutes on the baking sheet and cool completely on wire racks.
