Chocolate Chai

Ingredients

  • 1 black tea bag
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Whipped cream

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a small saucepan, pour boiling water over tea bag.
2. Cover and let stand 3 to 5 minutes.
3. Remove tea bag.
4. Stir in sugar and cocoa.
5. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.
6. Stir in milk, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg; heat through, but do not boil.
7. Pour into mugs.
8. Top with whipped cream.
