Ingredients

  • 6 Granny smith apples
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 2 cups sugar plus 2 tbls
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 3 tbls cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

In a bowl combine sugar, eggs, oil, vanilla, & O.J.
In a 2nd bowl combine flour & baking powder.
Slowly combine dry ingredients with the wet ingredients.
In a 3rd bowl mix the sliced apples with the cinnamon & 2 tbls sugar
Spray a tube pan with a baking spray.
Layer apples and batter around the pan.

Bake for 1hr 35mins at 350 degrees
