Smoked Cheese & Onion Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 small sweet mild onion
  • 1 cup (8 oz) smoked cheese, chopped
  • 1 cup plain or herbed mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • freshly ground pepper
  • paprika, to garnish

Preparation

Step 1

Chop onion very fine - reserve one tablespoon.

Combine ingredients in food processor and process until smooth. Add reserved onion and pulse once or twice until just blended.

Cover and refrigerate 24 hours until ready to serve.

About 30 minutes before serving, remove from refrigerator and allow to soften. Dust with paprika and serve.
