Green Bean Salad (Anne Schumacher)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb green beans
  • 1 tbs baking soda
  • tomato slices
  • Italian or Vinaigrette dressing

Preparation

Step 1

Place beans in boiling water to which you added baking soda. Cook 10 minutes (don't overcook). Drain. Place immediately in ice water. This keeps them nicely green and crisp.
Then just mix with your favorite salad dressing and serve. Garnish with tomato slices.
